Students that will be missing school 1 or more days
or students leaving the counrty will require an
Independent Study Contract.
Parents must contact Staff in the attendance office
10 DAYS prior to the first day of the ISC.
Steps to Complete an ISC Contract
- Parent must contact ATTENDANCE office 10 SCHOOL DAYS PRIOR to the first day of the ISC. 949-360-9581
- Parent must provide the date of departure and expected date of return for the Independent Student Contract (ISC) to be created.
- Chromebook: If student is leaving the counrty, parent must notify attendance so a Radar ticket can be submitted to reconfigure for International Wifi.
- The parent is notified once the contract is ready and must come to the school to sign the ISC.
- A copy of the ISC is provided for each teacher.
- Each teacher must complete the contract. The teacher compiles the assignments, signs the contract, and returns to attendance staff.
- Student will be notified to pick up assignments from attendance when ready.
- When the student returns they will turn in their assignments to attendance staff, NOT the teacher.
- Attendance staff will provide the teacher the students assignments to review and sends each contract to respective teachers for review and grading. The contract is dated and signed
- A copy of all paperwork is made for records.
- Parents and Students should maintain communication with any questions with regards to the contract and or assignments.
