DON JUAN AVILA MIDDLE SCHOOL

For the 2024-2025 school year, students will be required to apply for a bicycle/scooter/skateboard permit if they are planning on riding to school. The primary purpose of obtaining a permit is to educate students, parents and the community about bicycle, scooter, E-Bike, and skateboard safety.  We encourage both students and parents to sit down and take the quiz  together using your child’s CUSD login account.

 

Students should complete the APPLICATION and pass the QUIZ as soon as possible so they can get their permit and start riding their bike, scooter, or skateboard to school.

 

Once a student gets 10/10 (100%) on their quiz, and completes the application, they can see the guidance technician, Mrs. Nelson, in the office to receive their permit decal. Your student may start riding their bike, scooter, or skateboard to school once the permit decal is affixed and displayed in a visible location (see the diagram below).
