Welcome to DJAMS Library/Innovation Center

The library is open to students before/after school, if sent by a teacher during class, during Bronco+, and during lunch.  Students are welcomed on first come, first served basis.  Students can use the printing computers and their own private devices/Chromebooks. Library books can be checked-out; see Library Check-out procedures below.  Textbooks for each class are available to borrow while in the library or online textbooks can be utilized.

  • The library is for working on Chromebooks, school work, reading, and playing quiet games during student free time.
  • There are 4 designated printing computers for class assignments.
  • ID cards are required for checking out books and Chromebook usage.
  • Students must work quietly in the library.
  • Food, drinks, and phones are not permitted in the library at any time.
BOOK & LIBRARY AGREEMENT

BOOK & LIBRARY AGREEMENT

  • If you receive a damaged book, return it immediately to the library for assessment.  The damage will be noted or the book will be replaced.     
  • Any book damage during the year is the responsibility of the student to whom the book is issued.
  • If there is evidence of damage to a book, the student will be charged the replacement cost of the book.
  • If a student loses a book, he/she will be required to pay the replacement cost of the book.  If the book is returned within one year, a refund will be issued from the District Office.  There will be a $25 fee charged for any NSF check.  Refunds will not be issued if a book is found after one year. 
  • Do not lend your books to anyone or check out books for a friend.  You are responsible for any instructional material checked out in your name.
 
Your CUSD on-line Student Information Form confirms you have read and understood the information regarding issuance of library books and textbooks.
